TEARDROP GATEFOLD

 I created this card from the original post from Beccy's Place.  You will find the blog under the template.  Cut 2
1. cut double sided cardstock 12" x 6"
2.  score at 2", 4", 8", and 10"
3.  Fold into gatefold.  The 2 outside flaps
     become the front of the card. 
4.  Lay the template onto each front flap and cut             out. 
5.  Cut 2 more pieces of the template using
      coordinating paper to glue onto the front
      flaps.
 6.  Decorate as desired.

                       I thought this would be a nice gift for someone who is not feeling well. 
                       In the little box I will put a few cough drops and kleenex.

                         BUDDY FACE-TIMING

I tried a technique used by Jennifer McGuire called "rotating stencil" .

I created a card using that technique.

 Here is a sample of more backgrounds using this technique. On the black ones I used our Fun Stampers Journey Liquid Splash in silver ad gold.  Then I put the stencils on it.

I stamped both of these cards basically the same.  Look how different they look!  I lie them both.

                             FACE TIMING WITH BUDDY PAM 

We are learning so much from each other.  Tonight we worked on water coloring back grounds. 

FSJ liquid color was used on the blue background.  On the butterfly background I used FSJ Splashes to color the background.  This was an embossing resist technique.  Please feel free to contact me if you would like to learn how to use our products.

                                             and Fun Stampers Journey

   Face timing is so much fun.  We challenge 

each other and it pushes us out of our 

comfort zones.  Tonight we chose Sweet berry, Catalina Splash, Cocoa and Buttercream card stock.  

We had to use all of the colors but could do anything with them.  The butterflies were cut out with the die listed. I used Sweet berry acrylic paint from Fun Stampers Journey.  I put it onto a craft sheet and watered it down.  I used tissue paper to lay down into the watered down mix.  Once the tissue was dry I glued it to Butter cream card stock. This was a new technique I tried.  I like the way it turned out! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at

                               FACE-TIMING BUDDIES   

Do you have a friend that you like to craft with?  Does that person live far away from you?

My friend Pam .  She lives in Minnesota and I live in Wisconsin so we use face-time on our phones to chat together while we make cards.  It is almost as good as being with them. 

Our choice for today was to use the Family tree stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey.
