PINK POINSETTIA CARD

Here are the steps to create this card.

I used the Star Burst Bloom die from Fun Stampers Journey to create the pieces of this flower.

I used Gelatos to color the petals.  Once colored, the petals were shaped using a shaping tool with a foam pad.

Here is the finished flower.

The background paper  was created with watercolor paper.  I used Fun Stampers Journey Color Splash water color pencils to create.  Add a small amount of water to your stamp block.  Scribble the pencil into the water.  Spritz water onto the water color paper.  Now take a brush and get the red onto the wet paper.  Cover all of the sheet with red.  Make sure the paper stays wet while spritzing with alcohol onto the red. 

This technique creates a very pretty texture.

The holly leaves and cluster leaves were cut from Fun Stampers Journey Blooms Holiday die set 

JM-0048.

I colored the holly and cluster leaves with water color pencils.  Once colored, I used a water brush to blend the colors.l

 The card stock is from Fun Stampers Journey.  The base color is Sweet Berry (11" x 4-1/4") and folded in half.  (5-1/2" x 4-1/4")
Then the Brushed silver was cut to (5-1/4" x 4")
The water color paper was cut to (4-3/4" x 3-3/4")

The embellishments were glued to the card front. The banner saying was heat embossed in silver embossing powder and the  pearl were made with Viva Decor Pearl Pens in Opal color.

Here is sketch #40 that my friend Pam and I did.  We have so much fun doing face timing.  She lives in Minnesota and I am in Wisconsin.  We brought in six new colors this year.  This one is vintage rose.

Pam and I did sketch #39 challenge from Janice from Fun Stampers Journey. Thank you Janice. The white and watermelon was created using the new Flower Tangle background stamp SS-0617. The Sage and white was created from the new Dream Flower AT-0318 . There are so many new stamp sets, dies, and stencils available in our new catalog. We also introduced 6 new colors to our palette.

TEARDROP GATEFOLD

 I created this card from the original post from Beccy's Place.  You will find the blog under the template.  Cut 2
1. cut double sided cardstock 12" x 6"
2.  score at 2", 4", 8", and 10"
3.  Fold into gatefold.  The 2 outside flaps
     become the front of the card. 
4.  Lay the template onto each front flap and cut             out. 
5.  Cut 2 more pieces of the template using
      coordinating paper to glue onto the front
      flaps.
 6.  Decorate as desired.

                       I thought this would be a nice gift for someone who is not feeling well. 
                       In the little box I will put a few cough drops and kleenex.

                         BUDDY FACE-TIMING

I tried a technique used by Jennifer McGuire called "rotating stencil" .

I created a card using that technique.

 Here is a sample of more backgrounds using this technique. On the black ones I used our Fun Stampers Journey Liquid Splash in silver ad gold.  Then I put the stencils on it.

I stamped both of these cards basically the same.  Look how different they look!  I lie them both.
